If the Harlem Shake or the Mannequin Challenge featuring the song Black Beatles by duo Rae Sremmurd wasn't cringe worthy enough, there is now a new internet dance sensation taking over the world. If you haven't heard of the 'In My Feelings' or 'Kiki Challenge', it is basically busting a dance step or two while using the song 'In My Feelings' from Drake's new Scorpion album. Now while this might appear to be a harmless thing for most, there will always be a few (read as senile) people who will want to make it dangerous. And that is exactly what has happened. As if there wasn't enough stupidity on the internet, the world wide web has now been flooded with videos of people jumping out of their cars while it is still rolling (at slow speeds of course) and dancing next to it with the song playing in the background. Ladies and gentlemen, let us make this very clear - not only is this dangerous to you and people around you, it is also extremely, extremely stupid.
There have already been cases of the #InMyFeelings or #KikiChallenge with runaway cars crashing into things and people being locked out of their cars while they are dancing outside it. Even more bizzare are people running into things themselves while not paying attention to what they are walking (or in this case - dancing) into. Not only is this dangerous to yourself, it is also dangerous to other road users and pedestrians around you. And it is only a matter of time we hear about someone dying because of this frankly cringe worthy challenge.
In fact, authorities around the world have jumped in and have already put out statements saying that the #InMyFeelings or #KikiChallenge is dangerous and in some cases illegal too. Police departments across the UAE have announced that individuals found doing the challenge will be subject to prosecution and certain individuals have even been charged with dangerous driving and have had their cars impounded. Police departments in the United States too have issued official notices about how these 'stunts' are dangerous and individuals trying them on public streets can be charged. Similar notices have also gone out through social media accounts of several Spanish police departments.

Here in India, the Mumbai police and used its twitter account to put out an intelligently cheeky post about with two individuals attempting the #InMyFeelings or #KikiChallenge with the caption: "You think you can do it in a frisk... Till you find out it wasn't worth the risk". While it is great to see police and general law keeping authorities swing into action to try and prevent what will eventually be someone loosing their lives, honestly if you as an individual need clarification about how dangerous this is, you clearly need a brain examination.
