Hyundai has finally revealed the name of the AH2 hatchback and it's called the Santro. The first pictures are out too and it looks great. The all-new Hyundai Santro is one of hotly anticipated offerings of the season and coincides with the brand's 20th anniversary in India. The Santro will replace the Eon in Hyundai's line-up to become the Korean carmaker's entry level segment car.

The company has brought in modern styling to the Santro and we can see the cascading grille on the car while the sweptback headlamps are nice and sleek. The Hyundai Santro is 3610 mm long and wheelbase has improved too. The length of the car is 45 mm longer than old Santro. The company also announced that bookings for the car will start online from tomorrow for a token amount of Rs. 11,100 for the first 50,000 customers.

In the Indian market, the Santro will lock horns with Maruti Suzuki's Celerio and WagonR, Tata Tiago and even the Renault Kwid 1.0.
