India Kawasaki Motors Pvt Limited (IKM) has launched the all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R which is now more powerful with 200 bhp of power (210 bhp with RAM air). The previous generation Ninja ZX-10R had power output of 197 bhp (207 bhp with RAM air). The new ZX-10R has several upgrades over the outgoing model, including finger follower valve actuation, with the valve train designed by Kawasaki's World Superbike engineers, cylinder head ready for high lift cam, red painted cylinder head cover and dual-direction Kawasaki quickshifter.
The Ninja ZX-10R already has features like S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control), KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode), KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), electronic throttle valves, Kawasaki engine brake control, three-mode power selection, ABS, aluminium twin-spar frame, aluminium swingarm, high performance Brembo brake system, Showa balance free front fork, balance free rear cushion, Ohlins electronic steering damper, and comes in a single seater for the Indian market.

The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R continues to be a locally assembled model, and it reproduces the image of the production model used in the world superbike racing championship. According to Kawasaki, the ZX-10R has been developed by the use of continuous monitoring of race data, its analysis and embedding the same in research and producing the new ZX-10R.
The new Ninja ZX-10R will be introduced in KRT edition, and the ex-showroom price and detailed specifications will be announced at a later date. However, customers in India can pre-book the new Ninja ZX-10R for an amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh at any authorised dealership of India Kawasaki Motors. The pre-booking facility will be opened from April 26, 2019 till May 30, 2019. The new ZX-10R will be available in limited numbers and bookings will be closed after reaching the targeted numbers.
