Triumph Motorcycles is busy updating almost its entire line-up for 2020. After taking the wraps off the all-new Rocket 3 power-cruiser, the company is now testing upgraded models of the Tiger 800, Bonneville Bobber and now the Street Triple. Triumph's popular middleweight naked was launched in 2017 and the company believes it is time to tweak the design on the motorcycle in order to keep the appeal fresh, not that the bike lost any! From the looks of it, the 2020 Street Triple gets changes to the front end, especially its iconic bug-eyed headlamps. They have now become sleeker and more angular, even more bug-eyed than ever before and we like it! These include the LED daytime running lamps as well. The shape of the flyscreen has changed as well and the cowls along the fuel tank along with the radiator guard have been updated as well. Apart from these, the frame, fuel tank and the rear section stays the same.

(The engine will get minor revisions in order to make it Euro V compliant)
The engine could also get minor revisions in order to comply with the Euro V emission norms and the bigger cat-box confirms the same as well but is expected to be more or less similar in terms of engine output. The model being tested seems to be the 'S' or the 'R' model as it is fitted with the regular mirrors instead of bar-end mirrors and Nissin brake callipers.

While the top box carrying the testing equipment is still there, we believe the bike ready for a late 2019 or early 2020 launch, with a possible debut at the 2019 EICMA Motorcycle Show along with other motorcycles such as new Tiger 900, new Bonneville Bobber and even the Daytona 765.
