Hyundai Motor India today announced the appointment of Tarun Garg as the new Director- Sales, Marketing and Service at the Korean brand. Garg is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of Marketing, Sales and Network Development. He has also worked as Executive Director- Marketing, Parts and Logistics at Maruti Suzuki India.

Tarun Garg has also worked in the used car business at Maruti Suzuki and played a key role in revamping the True Value business. Garg was the Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing at Maruti Suzuki India and was promoted to the position of Executive Director, Marketing in June, 2018. He was made the Senior Vice President in May 2016.

Garg has joined at the position which was previously held by Rakesh Srivastava, former Director- Marketing, Sales and Service at Hyundai Motor India. Coincidentally, even Garg has moved to Hyundai after serving for 15 years at Maruti Suzuki. He completed his six year long tenure at Hyundai in August 2018.
