VE Commercial Vehicles, a Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture, recorded sales of 1499 units in March 2020 as compared to 8676 units in March 2019 recording decline of 82.7 per cent year on year. The decline in sales for at the close of the financial year was 33.2 per cent. This includes 1476 units of Eicher brand and 23 units of Volvo brand.
Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 1476 units in March 2020 as compared to 8545 units in March 2019, representing a decline of 82.7 per cent. In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 1409 units in March 2020 as compared to 7329 units in March 2019, representing a decline of 80.8 per cent.

On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 67 units in March 2020 as compared to 1216 units in March 2019 marking a decline of a massive 94.5 per cent while Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 23 units in March 2020 as compared to 131 units in March 2019, a decline by 82.4 per cent.
